At the end of this presentation, the learner will be able to:

Define the role and purpose of the Scientific Review Committee (SRC).
Examine the criteria used to determine if a review is exempt, expedited, or full-board.
Explain the difference between SRC and Institutional Review Board (IRB) and understand their working relationship.
