Mission: Facilitate Carle Foundation Hospital in becoming a world class research institution by 2012.

 

Goals:

  1. Increase quantity and quality of translational, nursing, resident and other research studies conducted at Carle to enhance treatment and satisfaction of patients.

 

  1. Develop a stronger research relationship with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

 

  1. Receive NIH and other Federal grants by 2010.

 

  1. Obtain 85% of research expenses from outside funding by 2012.

Carle Foundation Hospital, Carle Foundation Physician Services and Carle Physician Group contract with insurance providers separately and may or may not choose to participate in all of the same insurance plans. Patients are urged to check with their carriers as to whether services are covered for either or both organizations.
