Literature Review:

Foundation Research Office can arrange library assistance and assist with editing/revising a literature review.

Study Protocol:

While Foundation Research Office cannot write the protocol, we can help with information and guidance.  We can also assist with revising and editing a written protocol.  

Research Procedure:

Foundation Research Office can assist with surveys and tools for research.  The office can help edit surveys, letters and other tools.

Research Population and Recruitment:

Foundation Research Office can help identify the population to be studied and ways to recruit subjects for a research project.   We can arrange permission for clinic/hospital chart access.

Data Collection:

Foundation Research Office can

• Assist with setting up a database

• Entry – when justified on an individual basis

• Statistical analysis - Foundation Research Office can arrange consultation for assistance with setting up the sample size, power analysis, and post study analysis

• Provide computer access to enter/analyze data

• Submit IT requests for reports

Translation:

Foundation Research Office can arrange translation of documents into different languages by a certified translator (languages include Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean and Russian).

After the study is completed some additional ways the Foundation Research Office can help:

• Identifying publication/presentation opportunities and assist with editing and revising presentations. Once a nurse identifies a journal publication opportunity, Foundation Research Office can assist with formatting and submitting manuscripts.

• Identifying future funding sources.

• Posters – Foundation Research Office can assist with editing, revising, and coordinating printing of posters.

• Oral Presentation – Foundation Research Office can assist with editing and revising of power point presentations.

Foundation Research Office may be able to assist in more areas than those listed above if there is a justification included.
