Poster/Oral/Single Case Study Presentations

As of February 2011, the following research policy has been eliminated:  Policy RES128: External Presentations Using The Carle Foundation Patient Data

  • This policy required residents and nurses to submit their external posters and presentations for PHI review by the Carle Research department prior to the event.  This PHI review is no longer required.  The Research Office may still help with poster development, scientific merit review, and poster printing so please contact research@carle.com or specific staff if you need this support.

For the 2011 University of Illinois Research Symposium poster printing will be done via the College of Medicine
.  Please follow the College of Medicine deadlines and instructions for printing on their website:
    http://www.med.illinois.edu/sa/events/symposium/CallForPres.php

  • Please refer to these handouts used by Julie Houska, Privacy Officer, during the Carle orientation. They explain HIPAA privacy and security very well.  Please feel free to share these documents with students, residency, nurses, and other medical professionals to promote HIPAA compliance.
