2008 University of Illinois Research Symposium
Thursday, April 17^th

The University of Illinois Research Symposium is on Thursday April 17, 2008! This is an excellent opportunity to present a clinical vignette or research poster. Below you will find an informational handout from the Carle Foundation Research Office, an application for presenting a poster (required) and two power point templates (4X4) that may guide you in developing your poster (you may create your own – notice the templates on the UIUC site as well). Some important dates to keep in mind:

• March 28^th – abstract due to Pamela Talbott for PHI review (abstract should be entered in #4 of the application below)
• April 2^nd – abstracts due to UIUC (submit on own)
• April 7^th – Research Symposium registration deadline (register on own)
• April 11^th (by noon) – poster power point due to Pamela Talbott if requesting printing

Visit the UIUC Research Symposium website early at  (follow the “call for presentations” link to register and get more information about the requirements for each type of presentation).

Note: “all poster presenters must agree to stand next to their poster during the 45-minute poster session to answer questions.”

In addition, the American College of Physicians website, is an excellent resource for preparing poster presentations!
