Cost to Investigator - Cost Recovery Carle Tissue Repository Updated June 2010
The Carle Tissue Repository will request that investigators pay for the tissue processing fees. All individuals who apply for grants that will use Carle Tissue Repository services should consult the Carle Tissue Repository for estimates of costs to be included in the grant application budget. Specimens will not be delivered until processing fees are paid. A table of fees per type of services rendered will be established by the Research Institute and Pathology Services. All charges will be doubled for projects that are done in collaboration with for-profit organizations requesting material. |

Carle Foundation Hospital, Carle Foundation Physician Services and Carle Physician Group contract with insurance providers separately and may or may not choose to participate in all of the same insurance plans. Patients are urged to check with their carriers as to whether services are covered for either or both organizations.
