Cost to Investigator - Cost Recovery Research Tissue Repository Updated April 2008
The Tissue Repository will request that investigators pay for the tissue processing fees. All individuals who apply for grants that will use the Tissue Repository services should consult the Tissue Repository for estimates of costs to be included in the grant application budget. The Data Management Specialist prepares one invoice for the total cost of the processing of tissue ordered and submits it to the applicant. The payment due date is 30 days from the date of the invoice, and before tissue can be delivered. The Tissue Repository maintains a delivery summary for each approved application request. This form will be used to track invoices sent, payments received, and date of order delivery. Specimens will not be delivered until processing fees are paid. A table of fees per type of services rendered will be established by the Tissue Repository Manager and Vice President of Research. All charges will be doubled for projects that are done in collaboration with for-profit organizations requesting material. |
